Lately, Syngenta Group successfully issued US$500 million 3.5-year offshore senior unsecured notes. The initial price guide for this issuance is T+125 basis points, the peak order volume exceeds 1.2 billion US dollars, and the over-subscription surpasses the final issuance volume by 2 times. With further tightening, the final issue price of US$500 million fell sharply by 45 basis points to T+80 basis points.
This issuance is the first debut of Syngenta Group Co., Ltd. in the international bond market since its restructuring. The successful issuance of its offshore notes not only optimizes the liability structure, but also reflects international capital’sfull recognition of Syngenta Group.
