Lately, Pirelli held a press release in Chengdu and an exhibition on its 150-year history of passion and innovation.
This year marks the 150th anniversary of Pirelli. The 150-year history of passion and innovation showcases Pirelli’s glorious achievements over the years and development philosophy of “focusing on the present and looking forward to the future.” At the exhibition site, Pirelli presented four innovative tire technologies which are produced locally in China. This includes its ELECTTM electric vehicle tire technology which was developed for pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, the PNCSTM de-noising system that reduces noise and improves driving comfort, the SEAL INSIDETM tread dynamic real-time self-repair technology that is resistant to puncture and prolongs mobility, and the RUN FLATTM technology that ensures travel safety with zero air pressure.
In the future, Pirelli pledges to renew its adherence to the strategy of producing high-value items and continuously bring better products to Chinese customers.
